The American Chemistry Council's Center for Biocide Chemistries posted a list of disinfectants referred to as "fighting products" at Americanchemistry.com, which the website said were pre-approved by the EPA and "for use against emerging enveloped viral pathogens and can be used during the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak." The website said it was providing the information as a "public service," but notes the list is "not exhaustive" but can be used to "identify products suitable for use against COVID-19." Find the here.

Quick & Easy Disinfectant Cleaner

Quick & Easy Lemon Disinfectant A.C.S. 6836-152-86408 is a very effective, non-phosphate neutral pH disinfectant, cleaner, deodorizer, virucide, mildewcide, and fungicide. It is designed for use in hospitals, nursing homes, hotels, schools, restaurants, and other institutions where housekeeping is of prime importance in controlling cross contamination. When used as directed, Lemon Quat will disinfect hard non-porous inanimate environmental surfaces such as walls, floors, metal surfaces, and more. Lemon Quat deodorizes areas that are hard to keep fresh smelling, such as garbage storage areas, toilet bowls, and other areas prone to odors caused by microorganisms. This product is formulated to a neutral pH and will not dull high- gloss floor finishes with repeated use.

Know the difference between cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing. Cleaning removes germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces or objects. Cleaning works by using soap (or detergent) and water to physically remove germs from surfaces. ... Disinfecting works by using chemicals to kill germs on surfaces or objects.
